Roger Linn (see gallery) was a synthesiser pioneer in the 1970s, designing the world famous LM-1 drum machine, followed by the LinnDrum and Linn 9000. He then went on to collaborate with Akai on products such as the MPC60 (for which we can still supply OS and hardware upgrades), the ASQ10 and the MPC3000 MIDI sequencers and production centres.
Roger's latest product is the AdrenaLinn II, a remarkable amp modelling, filter modelling and effects unit that also incorporates an integrated drum machine with 200 rhythms that you can process through the amplifiers and effects such as the beat-sync'd filters. Designed for guitarists, but just as exciting for keyboard players who are prepared to experiment with news sounds and grooves, the AdrenaLinn II offers a great deal more than you might think.
